hello,

My son is going into 5th garde. last year we used Saxon and although he is not bad at math, he hated it. ( I know hate is a strong word but he realy did) I was considering switching to Shiller math ( Kit II- for 4th through seventh grade, a montesorri method to math) and was wondering if anyone was familair with this program. My main concern is that this program might not be up to par with saxon. Thanks for any imput. God Bless. marie

my daughter is using shiller for 1st grade and loves it! It is very hands on and sequential. we enjoy its progression and style. I know you can view the workbooks online to compare content and levels, they offer a free downloadable test to see where your student should start. I also know a few catholic families with older children who are enjoying math-u-see. hope this helps.

peace.
